Linda reflects on how she had to stop thinking about Mark, the author and her friend, in order to dive into the book, because she was so distracted wondering how such a nice person could write such a "creepy" story. Linda convinces Nancy that having a little girl's wrists slit during a church service and gods taking over peoples' bodies qualifies the story as "creepy"!
