Come to the Front Porch Book Club website the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of every month.
On the front page of Front Porch Book Club website, you will find our latest episode and the player to click on to play it directly from your computer.
Subscribe to the podcast on your computer or mobile device (it's free!).
You know how you have apps on your mobile devices? There are apps that play podcasts! The handy thing about using an app to listen to podcasts, is that the app will automatically keep track of all the episodes and most keep track of the ones you haven’t yet listened to. You never need to worry about remembering to come to the website or wonder if you’ve listened to all the episodes.
Here’s how you do it:
1. Figure out which podcast listening app you want to listen to. Some of the most popular podcast listening apps are Apple Podcasts (for iPhone, iPad, or iPod users), Spotify, Google Podcasts, Stitch, Pocket Casts, and Radio Public.
2. Download the app onto your mobile device.
3. Open the app and search for Front Porch Book Club.
4. Select Front Porch Book Club in your app. Tap on the option to Follow or Subscribe (apps sometimes call it by different names!).
Now, you easily open your app and see and listen to all previous episodes and all new episodes will be automatically added.
Do you already have Spotify?
Spotify now has podcasts. Just search for Front Porch Book Club and click on us. Then click on the “Follow” button to follow us. Now you will find us under your Spotify “Podcasts” tab!
Do you already have a smart speaker such as Alexa or Google Home?
Tell your smart speaker you want to listen to us: Just ask your smart speaker to play Front Porch Book Club podcast. This is fast and convenient and will play the latest episode. You can use voice commands to play the previous episode or pause, stop, ore resume playing the podcast.
Want more about Alexa?
You can use the Alexa app:
- From the main menu, select Music, Video & Books.
- Under Music, choose TuneIn as the player.
- Select Podcasts. Search for Front Porch Book Club.
- Click to play.
