Chrissi Hart, author of Tea with the Queen, is a relative, by marriage to Linda! Chrissi is a child psychologist and the underlying themes in this story fascinate Linda and Nancy. Along the way, Linda and Nancy talk about their favorite books from childhood. Nancy is surprised to learn that she and Linda share a favorite author -- Linda’s favorite children’s book author and Nancy’s favorite non-fiction author. Nancy presents research on the importance of reading to children and this evokes memories of childhood reading revealing some heartwarming memories as well as memories of crocodiles! Linda and Nancy talk about their favorite characters in Tea with the Queen and the beautiful illustrations by Stephen Macquignon.
