Episode Notes

14: Wendy Jones on Jane on the Brain

We were thrilled to welcome Wendy Jones on the front porch to discuss her book, Jane on the Brain. The book skillfully weaves neuroscience and classic literature to create insights on human behavior and skillful characterization. This book will blow your mind! Linny loved seeing her beloved professional expertise merge with her beloved Austin characters. Nancy enjoyed learning more about mind/brain stuff and how Austin was a keen observer, nailing how humans behave long before Freud, attachment studies, and personality typologies! Wendy shares with us how she came to write the book and she gives her insights into Austin's process. We also welcomed a special guest on the porch, Wendy's cat (!), until she was banished for her rude interruptions! We had so much fun talking with Wendy and hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did!
